I am looking for connections to Rufus COOPER b.1808 in probably NY?
He was the s/o Seth and Abigail(KEECH) COOPER of New Berlin NY.
Rufus married Elizabeth(Betsy) SERGEANT in or abt 1840. Rufus was married before as recorded in my SARGENT genealogy he was listed as a widower when he married Besty.
The information I have been able to access has been from a 1860 census of Tioga co NY, They were found living in the town of OWEGO. Rufus age 52, Elizabeth age 46.
Their children: Elizabeth Jane age 18, Carly or Carrie age 14 and Rufus Jr age 7. There is also a female age 24 listed living with them that may be a servant or a daughter from Rufus's first marriage. Her relationship was not entered.
Rufus also had a sister Rhoda who married Edward
WENTWORTH. I think he may have had more siblings.
I have much information on Sargent's relating to these Cooper's.
Betsy Cooper was sister to my ggg Grandfather, James Sergeant.

I am looking for an aunt with the maiden name of Anna MICHNA or MICHENER.
She was born in Hungary on Oct. 29 1898 and the family moved to Nesquehoning Pa. area. Her parents were Michael and Anna Michna. She immigrated in 1910 with an aunt and her younger brother.
There is an Anna Avery with the same birthday who died in Owego, Tioga Co. that could be her.
Her parents died in 1918 and 1920 when the family was young. Her nine brothers went to live with relatives, some going to live in Moriah, NY with the STRIEBL family, but could never find Anna as she was old enough to go out on her own.
I would appreciate any info to help determine if this is my relative and mayby I can find living relatives if this is her.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I am looking for any information on the family of George & Mary HARBAC.
George Was to have been born in Czechoslovakia in 1876.
Mary was to have been born in Czechoslovakia in 1879.
They may have had Children Named John born in 1898
George born in 1901
Lena born in 1903
and Micheal born in 1917 and Micheal may have also had a son named Micheal Jr.
I am looking for any info.... Birth dates, wedding dates....spouses...children and final resting places.
I show an overdue Tax bill for a Micheal and Sharon HARBAC that was just paid or dropped from the web page in the last week since Jan. 1st 2013. No Phone numbers I call are active.

I am interested in locating someone to research the probate and wills from 1808.
Can you provide the name of someone who would be willing to research who is knowledgeable of the courts. I am willing to provide remuneration.
Objective: To obtain a copy of the will and probate records of John SMITH, I am trying to prove Sarah (SMITH) VAIL is the daughter of John.
Problem: I have seen an abstract of a will but suspect that it was incorrectly abstracted. Spouse of Sarah SMITH is reported to be Ira VAIL. Ira VAIL is the son of Sarah and Asa VAIL. I was unable to locate the will in the Family History Film.
John SMITH is reported to have died in 1808 in Tioga County, later Chemung. Sarah (Smith) Vail died in 1826.
I did find an Administration request for a female VAIL in 1826 by a John SMITH (son or brother of Sarah?) in the films.

I am looking for information about the WHITE’s Patent Bent Chair factory that was built in Willseyville, Tioga Co, NY in about 1886.
I have a photo of my great grandfather, James EVANS, seated in a fancy rocker in front of a mill in Willseyville and am curious to find out more about the factory and possibly who may have worked there. More pictures of the factory to compare to the one I have to verify that is indeed where he was photographed would be a nice addition. James and Ada (LEWIS) EVANS moved from Caroline, Tompkins Co., to Willseyville after 1910.
Any new information about this family, about the factory or about Willseyville in general is appreciated.

I am looking for traces of Verdine BUCHANAN (b. 1799) and Amy (Lee) BUCHANAN (b. 1797).
Their children’s death certificates lists New York locations as their birthplaces.
Elizabeth (Buchanan) COWAN: Bath, NY;
Mary (Buchanan) SHAKESPEARE: Oswego, NY.
FindAGrave Memorial #68283367 (Tuscola County, Michigan) for a daughter, Louisa (BUCHANAN) LINDSAY (b. May 15, 1832) quotes her marker as stating she was born in “Tyoge, New York.” The closest place to that spelling would seem to be Tioga and it would be easy to confuse Oswego for Owego.
Any help in resolving the place names or any informations about these BUCHANANs would be welcome.
