Harrison Pitcher

Harrison Pitcher was born July 4, 1841 in the Town of Maine, Broome County, New York, the son of Jeremiah Pitcher and Eunice Hollenbeck. He married Eva A. Zimmer December 31, 1862. They had two children, Carrie Evealena and Allen Deforest. Harrison died January 3, 1919. Both Eva and Harrison are buried in Hope Cemetery, Newark Valley, NY. After Eva died, Harrison married Anna, who is also buried in Hope Cemetery.

Jeremiah Pitcher was the son of Wilhelmas and Eva Pitcher. Jeremiah was born January 17, 1799 in Albany County, New York. He married Eunice Hollenbeck September 7, 1806. She was the daughter of of Jacob A. and Ruth (Bolton) Hollenbeck and was born in Albany County. Jeremiah died August 17, 1872 at the age of 73. Eunice died September 3, 1850 at the age of 44. Both are buried at the Hollenbeck Cemetery on the Newark Valley Maine Road. Their children were: Emohrain, Caroline, Amanda, Mary, Phillip, Harrison, Elias, Elizabeth and Hannah. Jeremiah married Margaret Pier after his first wife died. She had a child, Mary, by an earlier marriage.

Eva A. Zimmer Pitcher

Eva A. Zimmer was the daughter of Peter B. Zimmer and Lucinda Schoolcraft. She was born May 15, 1842 in Newark Valley, NY, and died January 6, 1900 in Newark Valley.

Her siblings were:
Kate, Mary, Nathaniel, Anthony M., Ransom J., Marion and Manier Zimmer. Eva's father's parents were Johannes (John) Zimmer and Azuba Sieby Hilligas. Her mother's parents were Jacob J. Schoolcraft and Eva Catharina Zeli.

She married Harrison Pitcher in Newark Valley, NY, December 31, 1862.

Their children were:
Allen Deforest and Carrie Evealena Pitcher.
