Located near the viillage of Newark Valley (Tioga County), New York. It is approximately two miles east of the junction of State Road 38 and State Road 38B. The cemetery is located just north of 38B, over the top of the hill as you are heading east toward Union Center. The oldest observed date is 1829. Many of the names are early pioneers who came from Albany County. The cemetery was in good repair when last visited by me in 1987.
On August 13, 1977, I made research at the East Newark Cemetery located near the village of Newark Valley (Tioga County), New York. The subject of my research was to locate ancestors and early pioneer names to enhance my SHOULTES genealogy. The following items were examined by me and have been transcribed to the best of my ability. Maiden names and research notes which have been documented are included.

The EAST NEWARK CEMETERY or MCCULLOUGH CEMETERY is located near the viillage of Newark Valley (Tioga County), New York.
On August 13, 1977, I did research at the East Newark Cemetery located near the village of Newark Valley, Tioga Co., NY.
The subject of my research was to locate ancestors and early pioneer names to enhance my SHOULTES genealogy. The following items were examined by me and have been transcribed to the best of my ability. Maiden names and research notes which have been documented are included.
