Tioga County New York Lookup

Tioga County Reference Books and Lookup Volunteers

I have listed only a few of the many Tioga County books that are available. Of course there are many more.

If you own any Tioga County reeference books, and are willing to do "LOOKUPS", please contact me. As you can see, volunteers are needed.

To use this tool, please click your mouse on the name of the "Volunteer" and this will allow you to send the volunteer an E-MAIL message regarding your information. Please be considerate and ask a specific request about one individual using first and last names and include dates if they help.

Questions like, "What can you tell me about the JONES FAMILY?" will be promptly deleted.

Please make the SUBJECT: TIOGA COUNTY LOOKUP in the subject line of your request to ensure the message is not overlooked or accidentally deleted. In the first line of the message please put the name of the book in which you are requesting the lookup.

If you ask Delores to lookup information, it may take Delores as long as 10 days. She has a heavy schedule. Richard says it may take 2 weeks for him.

Both Delores and Martha require a first and last name. In addition Martha also requires the township in the county as there is no index.

If you requested a lookup, don't forget to say, "I got it and thanks" because volunteers are hard to find. They work for your applause only.

I have the 1880 census on CD,
put the county and state on the subject line
because I volunteer in several states
that way I know where to look up.

Many Tioga County Pioneers came from Albany County
during the early part of the 19th century.
I have a database of over 20,000 names.
I would be happy to share any information that I have.
I don't charge for lookups
but it may take a day or two to get a response.
