Maxine J. Eck, 76, of Apalachin, N.Y. went to be with her Lord Monday, September 8, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Theodore H. Eck, Sr.; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Melvin Abbey; two sisters-in-law, Jean Corwin and Mary Peters; three brothers-in-law, Merritt Peters, Bernard Eck and Herbert Depew. Survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Katherine and Daniel Deuel, Haines City, Fla., and Diane Brown, Apalachin; one son and daughter-in-law, Theodore H., Jr., and Diane Eck, Apalachin; grandchildren, Karen and Daniel Jones, Harrisburg, N.C., Kelly and Andrew Donnelly, Owego, Daniel and Cathy Deuel, Concord, N.C., Jason Eck and Geoffrey Eck, both of Apalachin; six great-grandchildren; one brother, James Corwin, Candor; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Peggy Depew, Endicott, Marilyn Eck, Endwell, Betty and Tom Rando, Endicott, Dorothy and Jerry Phelps, Campville, Barbara and Ray Beebe, Endicott, Joseph Eck, Conn.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish at St. Margaret Mary's Church, Apalachin. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from Allen's Memorial Home, 511-513 Main Street, Endicott, and 10 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish at St. Margaret Mary's Church, Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday, 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Maxine's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Tioga County Unit, 23 Lake Street, Owego, N.Y. 13732.
