Emma J. (Kelly) Arnold, age 56 lost her courageous year long battle with lung cancer. She was happiest making others happy. She went home on Jan. 2, 2009 to meet her many family and friends. She is predeceased by her father John KELLY; maternal grandparents Francis and Eugene McKIBBON'S; stepfather and brother (Marvin TRIBE Sr & Jr); her baby sister Lori Ann and her big sister Doris. Also awaiting her arrival is her grandson Chad ARNOLD who has been patiently waiting 20 years for his turn with Grandma. She is also predeceased by many close, special friends, that are awaiting her early arrival with joy and celebration. Left here to grieve the loss of her heavenly smile and beautiful soul is her daughter, Dianna ARNOLD and fiance Al with their children Travis and Sarah Peppard of Sayre, Matthew and great-grand baby Keilanna PEPPARD Waverly, along with Tyler WRIGHT and Ian BURKE both of Waverly. Also grieving the loss of his mothers charm and sensitivity will be her son, Neil and his wife, Brenda ARNOLD, along with their beautiful children Katlyn JORDAN and Lil LANDON, Wayne ARNOLD all of Rock Hill South Carolina. She will also be greatly missed by her life long companion of 33 years David J. TAPPAN and the grand daughter they both love and have raised since birth, Grandmas Angle Alisionnia TAPPAN and the whole TAPPAN-MONTE family. She is also survived by her mother, Emma Jane TRIBE and her sisters Sharon and Harry KRAFT of Fla., Francis and the late Marc STEINBERG of Ala., and sisters Marcy, Mary, Nancy, Tammy, and brothers David and John TRIBE, along with numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and adoptive family members. A special thanks to her niece Teresa, whos help and support throughout her battle were and are greatly appreciated. We would also like to acknowledge the wonderful people at First Citizens National Bank who will be missing her daily presence after 25 years of service. Thanks for all youve done and continue to do. We would like to invite you to join us in a celebration of Emmas life, to be held at the Athens Township Hall on Herrick Ave in Athens Pa. From 5 to 8 p.m. on Wed, Jan. 7, 2009. Please bring a story or a picture to share and a dish to pass if you can. Emmas finial resting place will be with her sister Doris in the Nichols Cemetery at a later date (family only will attend grave side services) In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790.
