|Maxine ARASZ, 82, of Waverly passed away Sunday, Nov. 2,
2008 at the ElderWood Healthcare Facility in Waverly.
Born June 20, 1926 in Rush Township Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Emma BRENNINGER and Elisha NEWHART.
Her first husband Clifford SALSMAN and her second husband George H. ARASZ also predeceased her.
She was also predeceased by her six siblings Russell, Floyd, Morse, Edward, Lucy and Mildred. Maxine has lived in the valley over twenty five years where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the North Barton Grange.
She is survived by her son, Raymond (Carolyn) SALSMAN, of Waverly; her step-son George ARASZ, of Panama City, Fla.; her grandson Raymond (Tina) SALSMAN, four great grandchildren Rebecca, Mason, Morgan and Tony Salsman; and a great-great grandson Aric.
Also surviving Maxine are her four brothers and a sister: Frank (Helen) NEWHART, Paul (Valerie) NEWHART, Carl (Maureen) NEWHART and Dennis (Helen) NEWHART and Vida KONE. As well as a special friend John Cline, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5 at noon at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue Waverly. Friends and family are invited to call from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Internment will be in Birchardville Cemetery, Birchardvill, Pa.
